STEM is important because the demand for STEM occupation is seen to increase by 17% between 2010 and 2020, This is based on data by the Bureau of labor statistics.
STEM occupations are also said to outgrow no-STEM occupations which is said to increase by only 14%, also jobs in computing and mathematics are said to grow by 20%,
Also by data that was taken by surveying business organisations and related groups workers who have a higher knowledge of STEM-related concepts are in higher demand than those who don't have knowledge on STEM.
In conclusion STEM is important because in the future it can help in getting a job in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths .
